Why are Indian selectors so gracious to their opponents?

As an Australian supporter i am thrilled to hear that the trio is not playing and especially Laxman who was a big headache.Honestly speaking without them (even with them)India will really struggle,the young brigade is still inexperianced.The bowlers are substandard.
