Are Shia muslims more peaceful than Sunnis?

The funny thing about the Asian religion is (now global) they set their differences aside when necessary. Remember the time when the Muslims and Hindus got together to kick the British out. Do you remember. Oh, and how about the time when the French and the Americans got together to beat the red coats. Now we are going after BP for greed, runs in the British blood.
