Is the 2012 gonna be the next counterculture or age of enlightenment?

i heard it was gonna be the next new wave of conscience's that our world has`nt seen since the culture and the age of enlightenment with new ideas,and new conceits of whats right and wrong and new froms of thinking and new ideas to set you're eyes upon.Do you agree about what i had just said or not?Please give your reason on your opinion on it.
