How do i delete a program that isnt on remove or change programs or isnt on programs list on start?

I need to delete this program but it isnt on my programs list on start and isnt on remove or change programs but i know its still on my computer because sometimes things pop up saying need connection on ares vista thats the program i need to delete but it just isnt there where can i find it and delete it?
