What Aussie city should i move to?

I live in USA and have dreamt to move down under for years. Now i can but I want to know what city i should move to, I know a few like Brisbane Perth Melbourne and ofcourse Sydney but I want to know which one is safest for my kids has good opportunities and has that suburbia feel, also what cable company should i get, iv got Direct TV which i hear is like foxtel i just wanna know if you get NFL and NHL and comedy central and fox (well i know you get fox wat with news corp being aussie) , and i will try and become a fan of AFL, i watched the final over here (that stadium is amazing wat city is it in), its a bit weird but you guys dont seem to be used to playing more than one final, we play like 7 lol plus im lookin to get into the police force and we have plans of becoming full residents
