Chances at Virginia Tech or UMD College Park for engineering?

Well, I don't think this is a decision anyone can really help you make. College is a lot more than just your major. You need to check out their websites and find out what they have to offer and see which campus you'd feel more comfortable on. Right now, I'd say if you applied to the schools you listed above, you'd have a really good chance at being accepted into all of them and you'll be faced with the decision of which one to actually go to. You gotta look into the schools further than their academics. Yeah, everyone goes to college to get a degree, but once you see how much of your life all the work sucks up, you'll need to make time to get out and enjoy yourself or you'll go crazy! I'd say stop worrying about your CHANCES at getting in and just worry about which one you prefer more once you get your acceptance letters ;)
