Why do people follow islam? I fail to, understand.?

why do people follow Islam if Mohammed was a paedophile? and don't say no religion should be followed but how can you follow a religion that was started by a paedophile do you believe that someone who is a paedophile and killed anyone who did not listen to him saw god? whether you believe in 'god' or not in this modern world we hate paedophiles so if Mohammed was here now he would be behind bars. you know I'm right. and don t say aisha was fully mature because she was nine, that's disgusting. and this has nothing to do with 9/11 or islamic terrorist that the media portrays its just I can't see Islam in a good way if the prophet was a offender. don't say I'm rambling on I am but I'm also right so know one can prove me wrong.
